Boost Your Revenues by Turning the Wrong people Away!

Everyone wants to increase revenues and stop wasting time with tire kickers. This blog is designed to help you understand where to start so that you can do just that – stop wasting your precious time and make more money, thus increasing your value.

So where to start? In marketing psychology speak, we say ‘demographics’ and ‘psychographics’.

“What is that?” you may be wondering. Simply put, demographics are the details about your ideal clients that are concrete. For example, age, gender, education level, socioeconomic status and more.

Psychographics are a little more detailed and we will get into those in later posts. For now we will focus on demographics and why that is important.

Demographics control who you talk to and when you talk to them. Demographics manipulate the type of people you come into contact with and those that you help with their problems. (more on this in future posts).

As I mentioned before, demographics include:

  • age
  • gender
  • stage of life
  • education level
  • income level
  • location of work/home compared to your location

“Why are these important?” you may be wondering. These are the first identifiers of your ideal client set.

Coming up in future posts, are details on each one of these demographics and then we get into psychographics (its definition, what is involved in psychographics and where to begin with psychographics to start honing in on who you want to help with what problem(s) together with demographics.
